Weekly Market

Image
the elder lady was very nice, I took the picture in 2016 When I was in my hometown, my family and I would often visit the weekly market nearby, just a 10-minute walk away. As a kid, the excitement of going there, regardless of whether I bought anything, always filled me with joy. The journey to the market was particularly enjoyable, especially the path through the lush green rice fields. Occasionally, I'd spot plants being devoured by numerous caterpillars, a sight I had to avoid due to my fear of them. the view to the traditional market near me Once we passed the green rice fields, the entrance to the market would come into view. Numerous vendors lined the market, offering a variety of goods, fresh produce from local farmers, fashion items, music, and more. During my visits, I'd often indulge in fresh juice or traditional Indonesian sweets. Sometimes, I'd run into friends or family unexpectedly, and we'd head back home together. DIY Dried Floral Wreath

Image
If you dry the flowers by yourself. You have to do these steps below. You will need;  scissors, floral wire, jute cord, flowers (I took roses, eucalyptus, and baby's breath) You can let the eucalyptus and baby‘s breath dry in a vase without water. It takes about two weeks. Steps for drying roses;  -remove all the leaves -cut the stems of rose to your desired measurements  -prepare and cut some jute cords -tie the stems with the jute cords  -hang upside down in a dark place (to protect them from the sunlight)  *I hung some in the dark corner. That was pretty good. And some between my clothes. They became dry within a week. So, to make a wreath. Some Words for my Plants

Image
Me and my chili&habanero D ear friends, I want to share my experience with you which really means a lot to me. „For me plants are more than just plants. They are a part of my happiness as well as my life.“ I never thought that l would cry a lot because of plants.  A month ago l was cutting off some branches of my chili and habanero plants that l put them in hallway because of pests. But I hadn't decided yet if l would throw them all away.  I just wanted to wait until next spring, because they can grow back beautifully again. However, after l knew that the pests were not really gone. So... Yesterday, l threw them all away.  At first, I was not sad. But when l took the last pot and wanted to throw it away. Suddenly, my heart felt torn... and I couldn't hold back my tears.  I was just crying.  I cried hard while l was washing all the plant pots. There were more than 10 plants that I threw away. So sad.   But l had to do it.  I love all my plants. And maybe because l grew my ch

Repotting Golden Photos

It’s time to repot my baby photos. This baby is growing pretty fast within a year. It’s time to move into a new big house baby... So, you're gonna have more space then.  Let‘s begin! Btw, sadly I can’t upload my video here because it’s too big. You can also follow this link to watch the video how l did it.  You will need some equipment. Btw, you can use anything you like to do repotting ;) I also prepared a new mixed substrate already. I made my mixed substrate from perlite, coconut coir, and plant granulate. To get more info around mixed substrate you can also click here . Step 1 I use a little bamboo stick to loosen the substrate around the pot. It makes it easier to pull the plant later on.  Step 2 Then pull the photos carefully.  Step 3  Remove the old substrate.  Step 4 Fill a big pot with 1/4 of mixed substrate. Step 5 Centralize the plant in the new big pot. The new pot size should be bigger than before! Step 5 Fill again with the mixed substrate around the roots, until the
