Sambal Goreng Tempe freshly prepared Sambal Goreng Tempe Last week, I made this recipe. It was really great and it always reminds me of home. The kitchen smells as if I were in my hometown. Many people love tempe. Tempe originally comes from Indonesia and is made from fermented soybeans. It is a good meat substitute. It contains just as much protein as meat. As a kid, the excitement of going there, regardless of whether I bought anything, always filled me with joy. The journey to the market was particularly enjoyable, especially the path through the lush green rice fields.
