DIY Dried Floral Wreath

If you dry the flowers by yourself. You have to do these steps below.

You will need;

scissors, floral wire, jute cord,

flowers (I took roses, eucalyptus, and baby's breath)

You can let the eucalyptus and baby‘s breath dry in a vase without water. It takes about two weeks.

Steps for drying roses;

-remove all the leaves

-cut the stems of rose to your desired measurements

-prepare and cut some jute cords

-tie the stems with the jute cords

-hang upside down in a dark place (to protect them from the sunlight)

*I hung some in the dark corner. That was pretty good. And some between my clothes. They became dry within a week.

So, to make a wreath. You will need the same equipment as mentioned above and for those 1-2 willow branches for a basic wreath.

Steps for a basic wreath:

-measure your head circumference with the willow branch

-then make the circle formation of your head continuously, when you reach the end of the branch, tie and put it in between.

Steps with the flowers;

-you need ca. 10 dried roses

-make a small bundle of roses and baby‘s breath

-then you put one small bundle on the willow wreath and tie them with floral wire

-do it with the rest of the bundles until the wreath is covered

For the eucalyptus and baby’s breath, make 3-4 small bundles and do the same as the steps for the rose.

-look in the mirror to make sure your floral wreath looks good.

So finished!

Stay healthy!

Xoxo, Rita

PS: the color of roses is so beautiful and has a vintage vibe.
