Plants Update

my red hot chilis

I feel a bit tired today. I hope next time I can write a long article about plants again. So, this time, I just show you some updates on my cucumber, lemon basil, red hot chili, and avocado plants. A few days ago, I sowed some cucumber and lemon basil. It surprised me that the seeds had sprouted already. As you know, I have been growing lemon basil since this spring. Now, I tried to sow some seeds again, but this time, the seeds I used are a gift from my friend.

Cucumber

I bought the cucumber seeds in a German plant shop, I didn't grow the plants from fresh cucumber seeds. I put 4 seeds in the substrate, and the four seeds already sprouted. They grow fast. You can see the difference in the pictures.

Lemon Basil

I still cannot believe that I can grow, harvest, and eat my own lemon basil in Germany. That's great! The leaves are very tasteful. It tastes the same as in Indonesia. I love to smell these plants, it brings back many memories, and the smell of the plants made me feel home. As I already said before, I also planted new lemon basil seeds, and they already sprouted. Let's see if the taste is the same as my current lemon basils. I also wrote about growing vegetables indoors if you want to read, just click here.

Red Hot Chili

I often cook spicy, that's why it's good when I have my own chilis. When I have many leftover chili seeds after cooking, I just spread them on some substrate. Right now, they are growing pretty well. I show you two of my chilis. In Germany, it took about one to two weeks until the seeds sprouted. The best time to sow the seeds is at the beginning of spring so that you can have the chilis in the summer.

Avocado

I just cannot stop to grow avocado. As you can see on my Instagram, I always keep an update. However, slowly, I don't have any place left for my new growing plants. I still have two seeds that are not cracked yet. I hope they are the last two. Okay, guys, look at the pictures, they are cute, aren't they? Anyway, if you want to know about growing avocados from seed, you can read this article.
