Houseplants that are hard to Kill

Sometimes, we worry about plant care, wondering if we do something wrong or not. We know that some plants have similar needs and some not. No worries guys, slowly you will understand the needs of each of your plants. But I have good news as well: there are also plants which are very easy to care for, and even hard to kill. In this article, I will show you some of those plants. So, you don't need to do much for them. Let's check them out!

Tillandsia (Airplant)

I have to say first that I have a new one. I bought it yesterday. It is very cute and quite big compared to the others. You can see it in the picture. But nothing is easier than keeping Tillandsia as houseplants. As I already said in another article, you don't need to do much to care for them. Put them wherever you want, even on a table. Put them in a bright room with no direct sunlight. However, morning or evening sun would be good. They don't need any substrate. 
Usually, they grow on trees. You can spray or bath them with distilled water once a week from spring until summer. During winter, it's enough if you do it once every two weeks. I have had these plants since last December. They seem to be thriving. Tillandsia is one of my favorite houseplants. Please read the other article for more info.

Zz plant

You can't go wrong with this plant. This plant can grow well even in the German climate. Great, right? Since I have bought this plant, I haven't had any problems with it. Everything has gone great. I water my zz plant two to three times a month. Put your zz plant in a room or window that doesn't have direct sunlight. So, if you love traveling, it's no problem. Zz plants can take care of themselves. 




Pilea

Pilea are one of the most popular kinds of houseplants. The leaves look like little UFOs. That's why in Germany, people call it the UFO plant. Last summer, my friend gave me her baby Pilea . Right now, it's quite big. See the big white pot. Lately, I also cut the upper part of the big Pilea . See the small white one. So, let us continue with how to care for a Pilea . 
Pilea likes to be put in a bright room with no direct sunlight all day long. I water my Pilea if they are already thirsty. If the leaves are still looking fresh or the substrate is still moist, I don't water them. You can check or feel the leaves with your hand before watering if you don't want to touch the substrate. Sometimes, if your plants are thirsty, they don't look fresh. 


Snake Plant

This plant is just great. You will never have a problem with it. I have several snake plants. I water my snake plants one or two times a month. As you can see in the picture, there are three different snake plants. So, if you have moonshine, please put it in a bright room with only a few hours of direct sunlight to keep the color. In general, you can place snake plants in a bright room. They will be okay. 





Cacti

In my opinion, nothing is easier than growing cacti. I bought my cacti three years ago. They are always doing great even though I pay little attention to them. I just water my cacti once a month. During winter, you should not water them at all. It's easy, right? I sometimes forget when I watered them, but it's alright, cacti can save a lot of water. Cacti love the sun. It's okay if you put them in a room with direct sunlight.
